Job to Toronto

The job to Toronto has been held back until Thursday so its looks like I will be sat around for another 2 days with no work. I was offered to take a trailer to High River and sit there all day in the smelly place with no where to go to the toilet (you can go in a plastic hell hole)and no food or Internet all for $20...said no thanks! I was offered a night job but like I told my dispatch I am a day driver I can't switch from days to nights then back to days just like that its not safe what if I fell asleep?!

Hey dad wasn’t sure on how to leave you a private email but I needed 2 tell you this.
I needed you to know that you are thought about and missed everyday you’re not the only one doing the missing we miss you so much! And as much as we want you home I want you to stay there and believe it or not it’s not all about me lol it’s not because I want to go to the Edmonton mall and I want to go 2 a Canadian high school or college and I want a hockey player boyfriend. Its none of them reasons the only reason I have is because I don’t think there is a more proud daughter.
I’m so proud to say you’re my dad you have always been there for me and mum and everyone but most of all I’m proud your finally living you dream that all my life I have heard about but never actually thought you would do it because I’m used to everyone around me just letting their dream just slip away but no you proved to me you can make your dreams come true if you work hard enough.
Near on every day I speak about you in some way to my friends and teachers I always try n get your blog up to show everyone and brag about how MY DAD has been here n there n how you have always had that dream since you was my age and how proud I am of you.
Daddy I want you to know I look up to you like you said no one in either sides of the family has followed there dreams but you have shown me that I really can follow mine I don’t mean to be horrible to anyone but I was beginning to think is this it? Even if I do go to college am I just going to be stuck in “Broken Britain” for the rest of my life?
Daddy before quit your dream please think about everything think about how you felt when you drove that truck for the very first time and how if you come home and drove another English lorry it would be like starting at the bottom again (can’t remember your exact words) and how stressful the roads are over here and the only beautiful scenery you see around here is some tress and graffiti.
Before you think I don’t want you to come home cause of course I do I miss you so much but what kind of daughter would I be if I wanted you to give up your dream? And what kind of daughter would I be if I didn’t tell you how proud I am of you. I know I should have told you before but I think now is the best time to tell you.
And as it’s your birthday tomorrow I thought I would let you know just how special, loved and appreciated you really are.
So happy birthday daddy love you sooooooo much. You really are the best dad in the world and thank you for being you!!

Hi Mike another question for you.
You say you cant go to the states for now, cause your visa expired ? How exactly does this work ? I thought you could simply cross the border and they give you another 90day one, cant remember what its called ? Anyway have a good trip to Toronto

Hi Graham
If you have ever been in trouble with the police you have to get a B1/B2 visa thats what happens if you get in trouble when you are young you pay for it for the rest of your life. H&R and the Canadians are ok with it because its petty and nearly 30 years ago but the yanks always remember I could understand if it was in there country but it was in the UK Mike

ok 10.4 Mike, I didn't mean to pry, just was confused about which visa you needed to get into states.
Anyway after that hearfelt message from your daughter it sounds like your one lucky father. Keep up the good work, and safe driving
