After my reset I went back to the H&R yard at Winnipeg and picked up my trailer then I went and loaded 3 hours before my booking time.. great NOT! It was too heavy on the back axle for America so it had to be reworked ohwell I got out of there 1 hour after my booking time so I can't moan too much, anyway there was a very nice blonde lady to chat to while I was waiting! lol
I only got as far as Regina then called it a night I spent about 20 minutes checking my route for the whole journey. I have a total of 2100 miles to do in 4.5 days so for the first time in ages I am going to take it easy and have a great relaxing trip. I have to meet a Mexican truck on the border so no point in getting there early.
I called into the Lethbridge yard to pick up my ace and I was out of a few other things so I topped up on everything (I think for the first time ever I remembered everything I wanted lol). When I turned up at the yard the wash bay was nearly empty so I stuck it on the wash bay and got the nice guys to wash my truck and trailer lol while I went and got everything I needed.
Everything was great, topped up on everything, got my truck washed picked up my post only thing left was the border crossing what a git! Some dipstick booked my trailer in wrong I got a bond load for Mexico so wasted about 45 minutes at the border.. never mind was soon on my way. I stopped at Shelby for fuel now this was the place I had to wait for 2.5 hours because some lady could not understand English but I have been told all the pumps are fixed now and they are, while I was there I got a subway sandwich to go and now I have called it a night at Great Falls Montana.
Tomorrow I am going to take a steady run to the other side of Salt Lake City then I will have about 450 miles to do on Sunday to get me to Las Vegas I will for the very first time since working for H&R park in one of the hotels and take a (slow) walk along the strip and find a nice casino where they do great food.
Hey Phil (Monty) if you read this before I get to Vegas whats that hotel you said does great food.
I am so looking forward to this night in Las Vegas its funny because I asked if I could get a reload that will take me back to Vegas for Thursday or Friday and the guy who does the reloads is going to sort it for me.
There is a truck show next week in Vegas the one I went to last year (with my dad) and there was a stand that sold fridge's & freezer's for the truck I have got a cool box I use as a fridge but I want a freezer. I have seen their web site and its $480 so I might get it a bit cheaper at the truck show.
I know this all sounds like I am having a jolly good time but it is work honest lololol.

Mike,
Go south through Vegas until you get to Tropicana Boulivard. Just after the Belargio... Go up slip road and turn right. You will see the Wild Wild West in front to the right. take your first right and then turn left into there parking lot. Its free and where we all park... DO NOT PARK IN YELLOW BOXS! or you'll get clamped. Those are reserved for? Your about a 5 minute walk onto the strip from here, back the way you drove in. As far as food goes we went to Outback Steakhouse because the ques in the Casino's were massive....
Have fun....
Kev & Lisa.
